Here’s a snapshot of your day:

Reporting to the Account Director, the Critical Lead Facility will manage such responsibilities as:

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of the contract with CBRE’s client

  • Provision of all-round technical support in maintaining the Operational Assets.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all Operational activities within the buildings are controlled and that they are being carried out with due regard to Health and Safety, business risk and maintaining the 100% uptime criteria.

  • Manage the team to ensure contractors/suppliers or the internal self delivery trade team deliver contractual requirements to a high standard and in line with maintenance agreements/SLAs.

  • Monitoring of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data centre environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS systems, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Air handling units, chilled water systems, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems (pre-action sprinklers).

  • Develop, implement and audit local Method of Procedures (MOP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP’s).

  • Monitor the closure of the permits and provide the business with an ‘end of business report’ of outstanding permits.

  • Managing the CMMS Operator in their duties of scheduling, change control.

  • Training and Development – Delivering training and development of the team to ensure individual and team growth

  • Managing client expectations, attending client meetings

Skills and experience:

  • Experience within a critical environment at a senior level.

  • Experience of maintaining critical & temperature control conditioned environments.

  • Prior experience of managing outsourced contracts

  • Prior operations management experience including team management, work scheduling, and performance reviews

  • Experience in vendor management, ability to manage and monitor progress to ensure objectives are achieved for outsourced support and projects.
