This exciting role offers opportunity to:

What you’ll do:

a) Analyses designs using Ansys and other simulation software tools

b) Simulations include structural, dielectric, magnetic, CFD thermal and multi-body dynamics simulation. Experience with at least one of these elements is a requirement

c) Advises the design team on what changes need to be made to the design, according to the analysis results

d) Ensures timely completion of the simulation within the time constraints

e) Shares learnings and knowledge within the team and to external groups in a professional manner

f) Achieves GB DfSS certification; can independently use the DfSS tools

h) Has a basic understanding of Product Standards like IEC, GB, CCC, ANSI

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering

• 1 to 3 years simulation experience within Ansys software / Maxwell

• SpaceClaim/DM skills preferred

• Experience with at least one simulation type, can be structural, dielectric, magnetic, CFD thermal or muti-body dynamics simulation

• Knowledge with electrical products is a plus

• Good command of oral & written English

• Analytical mind

• Customer mindset

• Good communication with other team
