LinkedIn is looking for a Sr Manager to lead the strategy and execution of how we operationalize our ‘Centre of Excellence’ team’s programs. The successful candidate will be a strong, inclusive leader with exceptional skills in operational excellence, business acumen, program management, people management and with some background or understanding of sales. This candidate has experience using data and insights to make strong recommendations and will connect the dots between our sales business priorities to our enablement strategy. They will partner closely with our 3 lines of businesses (LOBs) while focusing on driving structure and excellence around sales enablement programs that scale across LinkedIn’s entire global business organization, & Cross-Functional Leaders. This person will lead a team of Program Managers (PMs) with varying levels of experience, who support deployment of global programs focused on creating highly effective enablement initiatives at scale.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hire, coach, and develop a dynamic, diverse, world-class team of program managers that you lead with compassion

  • Innovate operational processes based on our evolving business requirements and develop a scalable approach to support driving the enablement roadmap and the roles and responsibilities to bring it to life

  • Ensure effective change management and communication strategies are established across programs to ensure buy-in and clearly define how we'll drive accountability

  • Use problem-solving skills to logically structure ambiguous problems, conduct data-driven analysis, extrapolate key insights, and deliver recommendations in a matrixed decision-making environment

  • Identify, influence, and drive evolutions of our change management and measurement strategies in partnership with LXD (Learning experience & design), Tech Enablement, Blueprint and Career Program teams.

  • Drive diagnostics on program operations needs, identify potential opportunities to drive GTME operations to be more effective and recommend a solution to maximize efficiency

  • Prepare and deliver a comprehensive program strategy leveraging data for senior leadership; specifically creating excellence executive summaries and overview documentation.

  • Connecting the dots between different teams and cross-functional groups in a matrixed organization to recommend processes that will help us achieve our goals

  • Some travel will be required (up to 15%)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following related roles: sales enablement, sales leadership, Program operations, consulting, sales strategy, change management

  • 3+ years of leadership experience (leading and managing others)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proven record of accomplishment of working effectively across all levels and functions of an organization, inclusive of VP + leaders at a large organization

  • Proven experience in partnering with cross-functional leaders to roll out large, complex programs

  • Experience with change management and leading sales organizational transformation

  • Experience with coaching

  • Experience executing or overseeing a sales coaching strategy

  • Prior work experience at a management consulting company

  • Confidence in effectively leveraging data and insights to inform enablement programs and strategies

  • Experience with sales processes, methodologies, and skills

  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and collaborative environment 

  • Proficient negotiating with stakeholders to ensure process changes and system requirements address customer needs

  • Strong ability to simplify complex problems  

  • Adept at presenting and public speaking 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • An avid learner

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $130,000 to $210,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
