Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP). Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies. Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

This position can be worked hybrid at the Sunnyvale, CA facility.

Summary of Functions:

• Drives innovation and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain Management function;

• Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for Machinery Systems in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP);

• Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate baseline schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies;

• Acts as the main focal point for the entire supply chain and coordinates with the PMO and other cross-functional teams to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers;

• Leads supply chain program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution;

• Briefs the executive management on the status and issues affecting cost and schedule performance;

• Manages all Earned Value Management System requirements to include support to the individual program planners in their assigned program's Supply Chain Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities.

• Conducts various program reviews with the suppliers, subcontractors and program office;

• Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules, contractual specifications and Global Supply Chain financial goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9+ years' experience in supply chain, business management or other related field

• 3+ years of prior experience leading a team/process/project

• Understanding of general procurement and subcontract execution workflows

• Understanding of general manufacturing and purchasing workflows

• U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering and/or technical discipline

• Demonstrated experience in supply chain management on a major program in defense and/or management in development or production projects

• Direct experience interfacing with executive leadership

• SAP experience

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management

• Demonstrated experience in interfacing seamlessly with cross functional teams, suppliers, customers and major subcontract parts

Salary Range: $138,100 - $207,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
