Walmart Director, Product Management (Walmart Business) in Sunnyvale, California

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart Business is driven by a meaningful purpose: to save time, money, and hassle for businesses, nonprofits, and governments . Our aim is to leverage existing Walmart assets and build new capabilities to better serve organizational buyers. We're bringing together the Every Day Low Prices, assortment, omnichannel capabilities, and store footprint and community presence of Walmart with new experiences and functionality tailored to the unique needs of organizations.

We are looking for a Director, Product Management to help us execute against a comprehensive product vision and roadmap, optimize our approach to the user experience, and work collaboratively to build scalable solutions for the business and organizational customer. This position calls for an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for solving business problems with innovative solutions. You'll have the chance to be an intrapreneur and build something truly impactful from the ground up-all while being backed by the strength of Walmart and having access to the assets of the world's largest omnichannel retailer.

What You'll Do:

  • Executing the product vision and strategy for this new business - you will use your domain expertise in ecommerce, web and mobile platforms to identify specific market opportunities, understand customer needs, and build business cases

  • Leading cross-functional teams to develop and enhance software products - you will manage product roadmaps, drive product development by prioritizing and managing backlogs, establish and measure performance by analyzing customer and product data, evaluate tradeoffs, and manage risks

  • Extending and leveraging the core platform to meet the unique needs of businesses and organizations

  • Crafting and developing new solutions to complex business challenges - you will translate business and customer needs to partners across strategy, design, engineering, and go-to-market to establish a shared understanding of the product features and user experience that deliver the highest value

  • Acting with speed - prioritizing workloads and navigating ambiguity to achieve the overall goal and product vision. You will launch, learn, and iterate

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong communicator who can evangelize product strategy and vision

  • Able to translate product strategy into roadmaps that drive results

  • Has previous direct experience leading and managing product teams using agile or lean methodologies, and familiar with enterprise software tools such as Atlassian

  • An innovative thinker able to synthesize data from multiple sources, including analytics, user research, operations research, and design, to identify key unmet needs and craft solutions

  • An empathetic partner to customers, capable of identifying and articulating customer problems, proactively anticipating requirements, then influencing and guiding the team towards better outcomes

  • Able to prioritize effectively, create efficient processes and identify ways to improve our product development for speed and efficiency

  • Has 8-10 years' experience in product management and leading teams to develop and deliver software/digital products

  • Must have direct experience building e-commerce platforms.

  • Expertise in Search, Payments, or Marketing Tech preferred.

  • Previously managed and developed product, UX/design, or technical staff

  • Has a Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. SUNNYVALE, California US-07003:The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00-$338,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09158:The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
