The Role

The Benefits Analyst position will handle a range of duties related to the pension and disability plans for the Americas and LATAM countries.

Your day-to-day

Plan Administration

  • Responsible for supporting end-to-end administration of pension, retirement, and disability plans, including enrollment, eligibility plans, and communication with plan participants.

  • Oversee the process for new hires, ensuring timely and accurate enrollment in the benefit plans.

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing and sustainable processes to enhance the employee and administrative experience.

  • Coordinate benefits for international assignees or expatriates, ensuring seamless transitions between countries.

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

  • This is a hybrid postion; 3 days week in our Sunnyvale, CA location

Compliance

  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulations affective benefit and retirement plans to recommend improvements or changes.

  • Ensure plans adhere to federal and state regulations, such as ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

  • Prepares reports to ensure compliance with the Employee Retirement Income and Security Act (ERISA), which includes preparation of 5500’s and summary annual reports. Also gathers the data required for the vendors to prepare annual non-discrimination testing; analyzes results for accuracy and assists in corrective action if needed.

Claims Processing

  • Ensure the processing of pension and disability claims is reviewed and processed in a timely manner.

  • Conducting audits of benefits packages and policies to ensure that the company’s processes are compliant.

Data Analysis and Audit Support

  • Analyze plan data to identify trends, track performance and make recommendations for plan improvements.

  • Performs benefit plan audits monthly and follows up to complete plan changes as necessary.

  • Assist in monitoring the benefits programs expenses to ensure they stay within budget.

  • Assist with internal and external audits.

Vendor Coordination and Compliance

  • Work with external vendors, including third-party administrators and insurance providers to support benefit plans.

  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Employee Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to pension, retirement, and disability plans.

  • Work collaboratively with the appropriate team members to address the complex issue to find a resolution for employee related issues and/or concerns.

Communications

  • Communicate benefits information to employees, including enrollment periods, changes to benefits, and educational materials.

  • Work with external vendors, including third-party administrators and insurance providers to support benefit plans.

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in benefits administration.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information discreetly while supporting employees.

  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to identify inconsistencies in data.

  • Demonstrates the ability for responsiveness and a sense of urgency when helping our employees.

  • Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and other departments within the organization.

  • Flexible and able to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and respond quickly to changing priorities.

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Word, PPT etc.), and Workday skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes flexible time off, a robust well-being program that provides for 4 global wellbeing days per year, and a 3-week work from anywhere option.

Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 87,900.00 - 128,920.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 71,025.00 - 104,170.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 64,950.00 - 95,260.00 USD
