FirstService Residential Housekeeper in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida

Job Overview:Â Â

As aHousekeeper,you’llbe responsibleforcleaning projects requiring advanced training anddemonstratedskill. Inspects work performed in assigned building/property(s) andsubmitsreports to theSupervisor. Positions may be indoors tomaintainthe interior of the community, outdoors tomaintainthe exterior, or a mixture of both.ÂÂ

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

  • Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.ÂÂ

  • Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.ÂÂ

  • Maintains all cleaning solutionsin accordancewithOSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.ÂÂ

  • Removes trash from premises andassistsin emergency cleaning.ÂÂ

  • Ability to properlyutilizenew equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.ÂÂ

  • Maintainsa friendlyand professional attitude.ÂÂ

  • Responsible formaintainingtheappropriate levelof sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.ÂÂ

  • Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies tothe Supervisor.ÂÂ

  • Ensures that security procedures areadhered to at all times.ÂÂ

  • Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.ÂÂ

  • Completes daily work orders as scheduled.ÂÂ

  • Responsible formaintainingtheappropriate levelof sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas. Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.ÂÂ

  • As applicable, cleans restrooms: Sweeps and mops floors. Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters. Empties/removes trash. Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor.ÂÂ

  • Ability to properlyutilizenew equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.ÂÂ

Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.ÂÂ

  • Previouscustodial experience preferred.ÂÂ

  • Multiple language fluency is desirable.ÂÂ

  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. ÂÂ

Â

Physical Requirements:Â Â

  • Ability to lift 50lbs.followingappropriate safetyproceduresÂÂ

  • Work in an upright standing position forlong periodsof timeÂ

  • Crawl in small and tight spaces; Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g.,heat, cold, wind, rain)ÂÂ

  • Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipmentÂÂ

  • Reach with hands and armsÂÂ

  • Ability quickly and easilynavigatesthe property/building asrequiredto meet the job functionsÂÂ

  • Repeat various motions with the wrists,handsand fingersÂÂ

  • Ability to respond to emergenciesina timely manner.ÂÂ

  • Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft).ÂÂ

  • Schedule: 7AM to 3PM / OFF Wednesday and Thursday
