Summary Manually move freight, stock, or other materials. Some of these workers feed or remove material to or from machines, clean vehicles, pick up unwanted household goods, and pack materials for moving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Manually move materials from one place to another. Pack and/or wrap products by hand. Keep a record of the material moved. General housekeeping of warehouse and equipment. Use barcode scanner to accept order and go to location to pick order. Verify correct part with a part check Print label and verify against supplier label Label product to customer\'s specifications Put away product by scanning TU and accept for put away, proceed to put away location Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of his job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
