AT&T Deputy Program Manager (Government) in Sterling, Virginia

Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community by providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

AT&T has an opening for a Deputy Program Manager to support the Intelligence Sector. This is an open key position on a 10-year contract.

The job duties of the Deputy Program Manager are as follows:

  • Lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining steps and resources needed to achieve objectives.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure standards for quality and timelines are met.

  • Prepare and present program status and reports to senior management.

  • Ensure all program activities comply with customer and federal regulations.

  • Manage program budget and resources.

  • Facilitate change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

Required Clearance:

TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management or a related field.

  • Proven experience in program management.

  • Proficient in project management software.

  • Proficient in the use of the Microso3ft Office Tool Suite

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • PMP or other project management certification

Desired Qualificatons:

  • Understanding of networking and Cisco products a plus

  • Must be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project priorities.

  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas for executive – level as well as technical staff consumption.

  • Ability to motivate employees and have them rally around the tasks at hand

  • Cloud environment experience a plus

  • Soft skills (experience with customer briefings), highly organized, problem solving, and self-motivated.

Our Deputy Program Manager's earn between $170,000 - $190,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
