Estimates prospective jobs and provides cost-benefit analysis options to customers; establishes and maintains processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting project timelines and ensuring major milestones are completed; manages project build landmarks from mechanical and electrical drawing releases to final debugging and implementation; assigns and monitors resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables; forecasts projects outcomes and risk assessments to internal/external management team to capture issues before they arise; analyzes project status and, when necessary, revises the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that the project requirements can be met; responsible for vision programming of machine vision applications using traditional vision tools; also uses deep learning vision tools that utilize neural nets for presence/absence, defect detection, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and object classification; designs electrical control panels and takes responsibility for panel build timelines, testing, shipping, and installation.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering or Applied Science.
Must have completed college level courses in the following topics:
1) Sensor and vision systems;
2) Digital logic design; and
3) Circuit Analysis.
