Description:

Come join the Food & Nutrition team at Johnson Memorial Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.

Position Purpose :

Performs a variety of patient food service duties including working various positions on patient tray line, delivering supplies and nourishment items to floors, working in dish room and other related duties. Maintains all work areas and related storage areas in a safe, sanitary condition.

What you will do:

This person is responsible a variety of cafeteria food preparation and service duties including working various positions on patient tray line, hot food table, grill, and sandwich service, loading and unloading dish machine, pot washing, trash removal, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning food service equipment and work areas. Performs a variety of food service area setup and closing procedures and cashiering.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, not required.

  • Fluent in written and verbal English

  • Minimum of 6 months experiences as a non-registered diet tech or diet clerk in a health care facility preferred. Minimum of one year diet aide experience preferred.
