Randstad has partnered with a Commercial Laundry Facility and we are seeking a Maintenance Manager! Join our team and keep our state-of-the-art laundry facility running smoothly!

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and perform maintenance on all plant machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operation (compressors, boilers, washers, dryers, conveyors, etc.)

  • Lead and develop a team of technicians, fostering a culture of safety and quality

  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules for 24/7 operations

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify root causes

  • Maintain parts and supplies inventory

  • Train and mentor technicians

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • 10+ years of maintenance experience

  • 3+ years of experience managing a team

  • strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and codes

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work proactively, manage schedules, and prioritize tasks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical knowledge of laundry equipment

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance on critical equipment (engines, motors, conveyors, etc.) following technical manuals and specifications

Troubleshoots malfunctions using observation, listening skills, and precision instruments

Collaborates with other trades (electrical, plumbing) on complex equipment issues

Trains and mentors technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Manages schedules, on-call rotations, and vacation requests, ensuring team coverage

Maintains a positive and safe work environment through clear communication and safety protocols

Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventory through proactive stock checks and order placement

Monitors preventive maintenance completion to minimize equipment downtime

Ensures team members understand and follow preventive maintenance procedures

Provides technical guidance and answers questions related to mechanical maintenance

Develops clear goals and procedures for the maintenance team, fostering a structured approach

Analyzes maintenance data and trends to identify areas for improvement

Stays current with technical advancements by attending workshops and reviewing publications

Enforces safe work practices through ongoing training and compliance with LOTO and PPE protocols

Documents and communicates actions, equipment irregularities, and ongoing maintenance needs

Provides on-call support to technicians and the plant for repairs and troubleshooting

Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

The essential functions of this role include:
