Regions Hospital Licensed Respiratory Therapist in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital Respiratory Therapists are group of collaborative professionals that work in partnership with the patient care team in the development, modification, and implementation of the respiratory care plan. Our Respiratory Therapist's administer routine and specialized respiratory and critical care interventions to inpatients and outpatient patients of Regions Hospital including neonates, pediatrics, adolescence, adults, and geriatric patients. Regions Hospital respiratory care department has 74 RT's which provide hemodynamic monitoring for all patient populations. We have an offsite pulmonary lab that provides full service pulmonary function/cardiopulmonary stress testing. Work schedule: Required Qualifications: Education: Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy and/or graduation from a two year American Medical Association approved training program in Respiratory Care OR coursework and credentials (i.e., graduate of two-year respiratory therapist program plus CRT credential) which meet the qualifications for the registry exam of the National Board for Respiratory Care may substitute for the associate degree. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Must be licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (LRT) with the State of Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. BLS Certified ACLS within one year of hire Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy, Registered Respiratory Therapist within one year of hire. Experience: One year Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: NRP Certification Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) Fundamentals of Critical Care Specialty (FCCS) Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401k with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
