Ecolab Inc Freight Payment Associate Logistics Analyst in St. Paul, Minnesota

Ecolab has an opening for an Associate Logistics Analyst- Freight Payment and Audit within our transportation department at our Ecolab Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN. Under the direction of logistics leadership, and with accuracy, efficiency, and Ecolab's best interest a priority, the Associate Logistics Analyst is accountable for supporting transportation execution activities. This role is accountable for supporting processes relating to freight pay and audit throughout North America. This position will act as a first point of contact for freight pay & audit and will interact directly with carrier partners. What You Will Do: Lead freight pay and audit for various modes of transportation throughout North America. Establishes effective internal and external communications. Partner with carriers to manage aging reports to resolve open invoices. Perform analysis on freight costing variances to identify inaccurate shipping transactions and/or master data discrepancies.Working independently and in teams to resolve data errors. Become the subject matter expert and go to resource within this space at Ecolab. Support process improvement by identifying areas of opportunity using root cause analysis. Establish and publish KPIs, metrics, and reporting to share progress with stakeholders (carriers, transportation management, and executive leadership). Analyzes, validates, manipulates, and interprets complex data from multiple data sets to develop solutions and optimization opportunities. Provide training and help assign day-to-day priorities to our partners in Pune, India. Leads complex initiatives that have multiple interdependencies and cross- functional implications. Basic Qualifications Associate's degree in Data Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills including advanced skill in Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong analytical skills No immigration sponsorship available for this position Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field Previous work experience in logistics, transportation or operations Direct experience working with freight payments Ability to work well in ambiguous situations Ability to exercise independent judgment and to work in teams Prior experience using SAP and TMS applications Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.to see our benefits.
