o POC of stale and abandoned data o Identify stale data, isolate this data, then go through sub-processing and then ultimately deletion of identified data. o The tool they use is Varonis, no one on the team knows Varonis. Software is getting installed 4/16. o Need to execute a bunch of tests, use case tests, does Varonis impact the network? Does it identify data? Check meta data? o In order to run the tests, some will pass and some will fail. What she doesn’t know is if it fails did they not confiture properly or can the tool just not do it? o Use the tool, configure the tool. Should know data protection. o Will not write scripts for the tool itself, but should have to analyze large amounts of data and scripting would be helpful. o Understanding system administration. How does SAAS work? How does on prem work? General server knowledge. o Be able to use M365, put data into excel. Status reports, presentations. o Purview – Data needs to be classified. Wont not use this for the POC. This does data tagging. But Varonis can do this too.
