About the Role

Our award-winning Food and Beverage team are at the hub of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for Bartender in the Road Hole Bar overlooking the Old Course. The Road Hole Bar has whisky enthusiasts flock from around the world to sample some of the three hundred whiskies we stock from all over Scotland. The bar also has an excellent selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines for our guests to enjoy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service

  • Exceed guests and members expectations through excellent and engaging service.

  • Anticipate guest needs.

  • Increase sales by upselling products and offers within Road Hole Bar.

  • Engage with members, golfers, locals, guests, and co-workers providing everyone with the same exceptional service.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Preparation

  • Follow good hygiene habits and report to work in correct and clean uniform.

  • Gain knowledge of all styles and sequences of service, become familiar with food and beverage areas for open and close.

  • Work closely with the supervisors and managers gaining as much experience through training and development.

  • Familiarize yourself with the composition of all dishes on the menu and be able to advise guests on a selection of food and beverage.

House Keeping

  • Always be efficient and courteous towards all guests and associates.

  • Be conversant with the hotel’s health and safety procedures, maintenance, systems, and policies.

  • Flexible to assist in other areas if required.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic, well presented, friendly and confident individual who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with a flexible approach. You will enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently. The successful candidate will have bar experience ideally within hospitality or a similar setting.

Salary

This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity, working 5 days out of 7 on a flexible shift pattern. Our shift patterns include early mid and late shifts. A salary of £25,705.68 is offered along with gratuities, and a vast range of associate benefits.
