Join our team and be part of the future that shapes the Cyber, Security, & Intel space for a modernized approach to software testing We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team of passionate individuals. Your role as the Senior DevSecOps Lead will be critical to the development and delivery of the software and architecture modernization effort for the Government.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior DevSecOps Lead Cloud Engineer is responsible for collaboratively leading a team and contributes to the software development and transition of complex concepts and processes, conducting root cause problem analysis and developing technical solutions to meet the mission need.

  • Guides and supports junior level personnel to improve skillsets needed for their personal growth.

  • Seamlessly implements technical architectures into cloud infrastructure, including design, maintenance, support, and planning.

  • Responsible for identifying the most optimal cloud-based solutions for existing and emerging use cases.

  • Ensure the cloud solution meets availability, accessibility, scalability, and cost-based needs.

  • Architect and implement cloud security features, to include ensuring interfacing with identity services and the proper processing of sensitive data from a protection, encryption, transport, storage.

  • Leading the existing customer legacy processes and the re-engineering of new methodologies and processes, with strong emphasis on cloud capabilities and Platform as a Service / Infrastructure as a Service (PaaS/IaaS)

  • Possess the demonstrated ability to coordinate all aspects of a release lifecycle including development and test activities and releases/deployment of code through different environments: Development, Test, Staging, User Acceptance Testing, Production.

  • Serve as a strong leader who will develop, create and maintain self-service capabilities for developers to write and manage microservices.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Required:

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Programming with 8-10 years of experience as a DevSecCops Cloud Engineer on programs/projects.

  • PhD degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Programming with 5-7 years of experience as a DevSecCops Cloud Engineer on programs/projects.

  • Experience implementing test and deployment automation strategies, release and configuration management and the utilization of cloud-based technologies for the creation of immutable environments.

  • Experience assessing and reviewing existing application architecture and providing assessment results, recommendations and insights.

  • Experience in Cloud/Data Center administration, especially with a public cloud provider such as AWS.

  • Experience with the function, configuration, outputs, and limitations of common cloud and DevSecOps environments and tools, including one or more of the following:o Configuration/project management such as: RedMine, Jira, etc.o Source Control such as: Git, Bitbucket, Svn, etc.o Continuous Integration such as Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.o Test Automation such as: selenium, soapUI, Postman, Jmeter, LoadRunner etc.o Infrastructure Automation such as: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.o Deployment Automation & Orchestration such as: Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.o Cloud such as: AWS, Azure, GoogleCloud, Openstack, etc.

  • Experience implementing DevSecOps processes such as Green/Blue deployments and Canary releases, and with DevSecOps Architecture best practices such as Microservices, and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Experience in environment management, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Experience scripting and deployment automation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.

  • Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ICD 503 requirements and application to secure information systems.
