Position is considered "safety sensitive" which requires the passing of an independently administered drug screen. Required Skills MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION Coordinate the activities of co-workers to meet plant turnaround needs Maintain and record shift data Coordinate relief for breaks, lunch, and shift switchover Communication with other departments (Most frequently QA & Maintenance) Perform all the department job functions, as necessary Must speak fluent English - bilingual, a plus Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management. Employee must adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF) Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities. Support special projects and other duties as assigned. Required Experience Job Specific Skills: Must be available to work weekends or overtime. Must be able to train and perform job functions on the production floor alongside the Sanitation techs when needed. Leadership Skills Strong Problem-solving skills. The ability to maintain shift data reports. Be able to work around chemicals, loud machines. comfortable working in a cooler setting (34-degree temperatures) We are an equal opportunity employer.
