As a School Based Support Supervisor, you'll oversee and mentor a team of School Based Support Specialists, providing supervision, guidance, and ensuring compliance with departmental standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular individual supervision and team meetings to support the growth and development of School Based Support Specialists.

  • Collaborate with School Based Specialists to deliver high-quality clinical services, including accompanying them on client visits to ensure worker safety and quality performance.

  • Assist supervisees in managing their time effectively, in accordance with DMH standards and departmental needs.

  • Participate in staffing meetings to identify client needs, set goals and objectives, and manage case assignments.

  • Contribute to the quality assurance process by presenting and facilitating case discussions, providing input, and participating in ITP development and updates.

  • Serve as backup support to supervisees as needed, providing direct crisis intervention during regular business hours and on a call-down basis outside of office hours.

  • Review and monitor written documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, providing constructive feedback and disciplinary action as necessary.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field; OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field plus 5 years relevant experience.

  • Acceptable driving record and personal auto insurance coverage.
