Location: Springfield, Missouri (Remote or Hybrid options available)Department: Finance Department

Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

As a Junior Financial (FINS) Analyst, you'll support the Finance transformation into the Workday Finance system, ensuring its effective integration with our organization's financial processes and objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.

  • Conduct analysis of financial data within the Workday system to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with teams identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements.

  • Support integration efforts between Workday Financials and other systems, working closely with IT teams and external vendors.

  • Assist in developing training materials, user guides, and documentation for Workday Financials functionalities and processes.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users regarding system issues and reporting queries.

  • Perform recurring audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with current policies and regulations.

  • Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.

  • Promote technology/systems to increase productivity, decrease rework, and eliminate manual effort.

  • Partner with technology teams on projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, process redesign, and implementations.

  • Assist in overseeing the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, testing processes, and evaluating results.

  • Provide support with training team members on processes and creating/maintaining training resources.

  • Provide support for merger/acquisition (M/A) activity as it pertains to system configuration and data conversion.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in Information Technology, Finance, or closely related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 1-year Finance related experience preferred with a demonstrated aptitude for analytics and problem-solving.

  • Workday certifications preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Finance modules of Workday.

  • Ability to multitask and remain highly organized.

  • Ability to work with information in a confidential manner.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Effective communicator in a diverse workforce.

  • Proficiency in Excel and math.

  • Understanding of finance modules in Workday or a similar system.
