Job Description

As an individual contributor, applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Research businesses, industries, and competitors for multiple workstreams using a comprehensive and self-directed analytical approach.

  • Construct financial and statistical models that incorporate industry standard information sources, valuation methods, and statistically relevant data.

  • Interpret and synthesizes data to identify major conclusions and formulate recommendations for solving customer problems and optimizing business and financial performance.

  • Own data collection activities and partners with cross-functional team members to ensure timely and accurate analysis delivery.

  • Prepare project plans, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop, implement, and communicate product & portfolio strategy and requirements supporting corporate & organization strategy.

  • Build insights-driven product concepts from zero to low fidelity for concept testing and buy in.

  • Mantain deep customer understanding and focus, with ability to articulate clear market segmentation, target customer personas, product, experience journeys and Go-to-Market Strategy to internal and external stakeholders

Education and Experience Required:

Typically, minimum 3 years' experience in management consulting, product management, product strategy, or market research.

Strong preference for experience within consumer electronics hardware/software, AI, and cloud solutions.

First level university degree considered, with appropriate work experience. Recent MBA plus pre-degree experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of product management principles and practices

  • Deep knowledge of product lifecycle, from ideation to development to launch to post-launch support and end-of-life

  • Broad knowledge of marketing, Go-To-Market and 4P Marketing Programs

  • Very strong analytical thinking and analysis skills

  • Ability to understand abstract ideas fully and logically address project objectives with limited direction

  • Developed business acumen and technical knowledge within at least two business units

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present proposals, results, and implications to management teams and external stakeholders

  • Advanced group facilitation, and interviewing skills

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Good relationship management skills, including partnering across organizations
