HP Inc. Sr. Cybersecurity Project Manager in Spring, Texas

Job Summary

  • The Cybersecurity Governance focus specializes in developing and executing security controls, defenses and countermeasures to prevent attacks or attempts to infiltrate firm email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Administers policies to control physical/virtual access to systems. Performs tests to ensure policy compliance; responds to breaches and threats.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the management and proactive improvements to HP security governance, policies and/or operations as it relates to issue resolution, vulnerability/threat analysis and/or prevention, and security research and querying relative to current issues and/or impending threats.

  • Leads and is primarily responsible for the resolution of HP security policies and governance, interfaces with internal stakeholders when necessary to define appropriate policies and governance.

  • Leads and is primarily responsible for the HP security governance program.

  • Leads others in and is primarily responsible for the development, enhancement, organization, and maintenance of HP's security policies and governance.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in cyber & IT security, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $118,050 to $181,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
