Job Opportunity: Material Handler

Shift Details: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

As a Material Handler at Adecco, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient freight management.

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks such as unloading trucks, checking merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.

  • Review customer orders and work orders to determine items for distribution and shipping.

  • Fulfill requisitions and distribute materials to the shipping team.

  • Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for employees and customers.

  • Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Required:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.

  • Proficiency in basic math calculations, both with and without a calculator.

Preferred:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, based on fluctuating freight volumes.

  • Prior dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry.

  • Forklift experience within a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) setting.

  • Experience loading and unloading trailers.

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
