Summary:

An Inside Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives among our inside sales and projects teams. Their duties include training, recruiting, hiring, and delegating sales and marketing tasks among team members and meeting with upper management to discuss their progress.

Reports to: PC Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years relative work experience

  • Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

  • Excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency

  • Must be organized, possess strong problem-solving skills

  • Must show initiative, self-motivation, perseverance

Working Conditions:

  • Business hours are 7am-5pm (M-F)

  • Working conditions vary and may include warehouse, office, and external environments.

  • Activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions.

  • Office work may include sitting for extended periods.

  • May include some travel – both by car and by air

  • Manufacturing client facilities may have hazards or dirty conditions.

Essential Job Functions:

Supervising Projects dept. and Sales dept. employees to achieve common goals of sales and profit and customer service levels provided by the PC Manager.

  • Recruiting, training, and supervising members of the inside sales team.

  • Educating inside sales staff on effectively answering common customer questions.

  • Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the inside sales staff receive quality leads to pursue.

  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads and actual sales.

  • Preparing accurate sales forecasts to assist the company in making sound business decisions.

  • Regularly evaluating the performance of the inside sales team.

  • Evaluating current sales practices and procedures to determine whether they are effective in generating sales.

  • Recommending and implementing improvements to current sales practices and procedures as needed.
