We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Fiscal Director in Sparks, Nevada. This role is within the Tribal Government industry, with a particular focus on Federal Grants tracking and contracts. The Fiscal Director will engage in a wide range of accounting functions, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and audit preparation in collaboration with a CPA.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

• Manage and track federal grants, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance

• Prepare fiscal reports for tribal government operations

• Work closely with CPA to prepare for audits and ensure the organization's financial practices are in line

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records

• Manage contracts within the federal government regulations

• Oversee budget processes and capital management within the organization

• Use specialized skills such as Abila MIP and ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management

• Ensure timely and accurate government reporting as per federal guidelines.

Requirements • Experience with Abila MIP software

• Proficient in the use of various Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of Banner Ads creation and management

• Proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal use and operation

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Knowledge of Capital Management practices

• Ability to manage Cash Activity effectively

• Experience in Federal Grant applications and management

• Understanding of Federal Government Reporting requirements

• Experience with handling Federal Government Contracts.
