Description This dynamic team is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join their growing company. You will succeed in this position if you can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role, based in the Southlake, Texas region, is a permanent position.

What you get to do every day

• Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

• Respond to requests for information from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders

• Verify documents and codes

• Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts

• Correspond with clients to resolve payment issues and set up payment plans

• Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures

• Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP Requirements

• Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

• Efficient in ERP systems

• SAP experience

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

• B2B collections experience

• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
