Position: Hardware Support Engineer Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment Location: Salt Lake City, UT Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 12+ months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time. Pay Rate Range: $40-45/HR Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: Applies extensive subject matter expertise to address both common and complex business issues, recommending suitable alternatives. Handles problems of varying complexity and scope, and may lead teams or projects, guiding activities and facilitating information validation and decision-making. Uses independent judgment to identify and select solutions, managing unique situations effectively. Seeks advice for decisions on complex business matters when necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Gather and analyze data, escalating issues to higher-level support and management as needed to ensure timely resolution. - Maintain high customer satisfaction by understanding and communicating their needs. - Handle hardware support tasks, including installation, configuration, proactive maintenance, and repairs, collaborating with ASM on technical deliverables. - Resolve most technical incidents independently and work with the team on more complex issues. - Proactively identify and alert management to potential escalations and provide solutions to prevent future problems. - Apply solutions to address moderately complex customer needs and balance internal and customer requirements. - Identify opportunities for additional services that could drive future revenue growth. - Build strong relationships with management in assigned accounts. Selling Points for Candidates: Position will hold your TS/SCI Clearance and standard working working hours (9am-5pm EST) Requirements: Must hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance to be considered Please note that as a contract employee of Apex Systems, benefits include the below with employee contribution
