Job Summary:

The Distribution Center (DC) Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Distribution Center operation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the distribution center facility.

  • Conduct regular and as needed meetings with staff

  • Be able to perform all aspects of the DC operations including picking, shipping, delivery, replenishment and cycle counting

  • Maintain efficient product flow through the warehouse and processing accuracy

  • Researching and resolving warehouse-to-store issues

  • Effective performance management at all required intervals

  • Overall organization and maintenance of the facility

  • Accountability for all staff members (attendance, punctuality, productivity, accuracy, safety)

  • Manage delivery fleet (maintenance and upkeep)

  • Ensure safety and security of facility to include warehouse operations and delivery operations, eliminating the temptation of theft

  • Payroll management in the facility

  • Maintain good relationships with internal warehouse staff, store management and personnel, and corporate office personnel.

  • Innovative rewards and accountability tools must be developed, maintained, and updated to keep facility staff motivated and challenged.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • 5 years’ experience in warehouse

  • 2 years of management experience

  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • English fluency

  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours, including evenings and/or weekends as needed

  • Strong understanding of business processes including retail operations, distribution and logistics operations, including inventory control

  • Criminal Background Check: (1) no misdemeanor possession within the past one year, (2) no misdemeanor of theft or violence within the past two years, (3) no felony of any kind within the past six years, (4) no active warrants for any offense

  • Driving Record Requirements: (1) No more than 3 violations within the last 3 years, (2) no suspended license in the last 3 years, (3) no felony traffic violation within the last 5 years, (4) no DUI in the last 5 years.

Preferred:

  • Proficient in JDA’s Merchandise Management System

Other:

  • Indoor (2/3) / Outdoor (1/3)

  • General office equipment, forklift, delivery truck

  • Given retail industry, holidays/weekends/evenings may be required

The expected pay range is $66,560 - $77,905 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
