We are looking for aWarehouse Adminstrative Clerk i nterested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Warehouse team at PIM’s Somerset site in Somerset, NJ .

JOB OVERVIEW

The incumbent is responsible for achieving timely and effective delivery appointments. The position serves as the first point of contact with delivery and pick up carriers. This position must have the highest regard for checking and reviewing paperwork and drivers credentials. Position duties include greeting visitors and drivers, answering and effectively managing phone calls, administrative work, and making appointment reservations. Computer work with Excel, Word and Microsoft a must.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

  • Creating a positive experience by interacting with guests, and vendors on the telephone and in the waiting areas.

  • Making appointments by email and scheduling them on a daily planning calendar

  • Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQFP

  • Follow PIM Brands GMP rules

  • Monitor fellow employees for adherence to GMPs.

  • Advise visitors about Company policies, provide visitor paperwork and issue visitor badges

  • Responds to caller requests for general company information such as location, directions, address, fax numbers, web site, etc. and uses discretion when giving out employee or company information.

  • Provides them with Company's visitor policies related to GMP's, cell phone usage, workplace standards, etc. (When Necessary)

  • Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.

  • Creating Excel spreadsheets and tracking data as needed.

  • Creating and editing PowerPoint presentations as needed.

  • Maintains professional appearance of the Warehouse Office

  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties and projects.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching. Lifting and moving of objects weighing at least 10 lbs., keyboard entry and the manual operation of business machines and equipment. Reasonable accommodations will be evaluated and considered to enable an individual to perform the essential job functions.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Representative of a busy, professional office setting within a manufacturing facility. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, lab coat, protective eye wear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable, friendly and attentive.

  • AA degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with excellent communication skills required.

  • 3-5 years of experience providing administrative support or reception services in a office environment.

  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Positive demeaner is crucial.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Professional composure and attire required.

  • Ability to work in dynamic and sensitive environment.

  • Ability to use good judgement, discretion and confidentiality.
