We are looking for a Training Coordinator/Specialist interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Human Resource team at PIMs Somerset site in New Jersey.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide support to ensure all associates are properly trained to effectively perform their roles, both on the production floor and across the functions in Somerset and Park Ridge. Work with the HR team to evaluate and identify learning and training opportunities for management and frontline associates; develop training plans and implement training sessions to address gaps and support the ongoing development of associates and succession planning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with management to develop training curriculum for skilled roles on the production floor to ensure all associates are consistently trained to effectively perform their jobs

  • Work with managers to develop a skills matrix that helps assess associates ability to perform their duties.

  • Facilitate cross training to enable skill development for performance and career development.

  • Work with managers and HR to analyze training needs and make recommendations.

  • Coordinate training delivery, administer training feedback surveys and report metrics.

  • Work with the Sr. HR Director to coordinate, create and deliver management training and instructional tools that advance the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Facilitate learning and development programs and workshops in Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) environments directly or through third party providers

  • Administer new hire and compliance training through Paycom.

  • Manage projects and initiatives that are in support of creating a learning organization.

  • Tracking of all training to include job specific training, developmental training, GMP, Safety, Compliance, etc.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of previous related experience.

  • Previous working experience in Human Resources functions such as complex employee relations and conflict resolution, training, and development program implementation.

  • Strong collaboration, process orientation, organization skills, proficiency with Office 365 and results orientation are required skills.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Representative of a busy office environment. At times work activities require a presence in the manufacturing and plant facility which can be noisy, exhibits various climate variations and where continuous movement of people and mechanical devices occur. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, protective eye wear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor. Reasonable accommodations will be evaluated and considered to enable an individual to perform the essential job functions.
