Insight Global Paint Line Process Engineer in Sinton, Texas

Job Description

The Paint Line Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing the efficiency and quality of our paint line operations. This role involves developing and implementing process improvements, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations on the paintline in their new plant in Sinton, TX. This person will also be responsible for conducting new product trial, and working with other departments at the plant to minimize defects.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design and implement process improvements to enhance paint line efficiency and product quality.

 Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of paint line equipment.

 Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

 Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for paint line operations.

 Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

 Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

 Train and mentor staff on best practices and new technologies.

 Work closely with the R&D department to implement new painting technologies and materials.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

 Experience working on process improvement within a paint line in a manufacturing environment

 Data mining skills (SQL, Access, Excel, etc.)

 Data analysis skills (SPC, IBA, Excel, etc.)

 Strong understanding of paint chemistry and application techniques. null
