FedEx Logistics SGP015: Assoc Ops Spclst Ocean (6-mth Contract) in Singapore, Singapore

To assist the Ocean Operations Manager in coordinating ocean freight services, products and operations. Supervises the work of direct reports to maintain a high level of customer service and operations compliance

  • Assist in handling carrier and vendor relations

  • Resolve capacity and service issues with carriers and vendors

  • Assist with ocean freight costing & pricing

  • Conduct margin analysis to identify opportunities to improve margin

  • Support the customer service to ensure all operational queries and issues are resolved timely

  • Perform data analysis and provide feedback to management

Academic:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level and above

Experience & knowledge:

  • At least two (2)years experience in freight forwarding industry

  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and local languages (to be able to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)

  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Attribute:
