Abbott Regional Supply Chain Excellence Senior Analyst (APAC), Infectious Diseases, Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) in Singapore, Singapore

JOB PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary role of the Regional Supply Chain Excellence Senior Analyst is to manage the consolidation and reporting of supply chain KPIs for the APAC region and support continuous improvement in supply chain performance through the implementation and maintenance of standardized processes, planning best practices, root cause analysis and corrective action. Additionally, the Regional Supply Chain Excellence Senior Analyst will be responsible for the development of new tools and reporting and will support training and roll out to the region.

RESPONSIBLITIES & DUTIES:

Supply Chain Performance Management and Reporting

  • Manage the consolidation and reporting of supply chain KPIs for the APAC region and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective action.

  • Provide performance reporting to management through a regional dashboard.

Supply Chain Best Practices

  • Support the periodic inventory strategy review for APAC Affiliates to establish and maintain target safety stock levels by product to ensure service levels to customer while optimising net working capital.

  • Support the implementation of supply chain policies and standard operating procedures. Ensuring compliance to procedures across the region and standardise ways of working in line with best practices.

Supply Chain Systems, Tools and Data

  • Develop standard reports and roll out in all the region.

  • Support the roll out of any new supply chain systems and tools, act as the subject matter expert / key user for the region and provide training to new team members.

  • Manage periodic updates for and publish supply chain planning master data for the region.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, distribution & operation management.

  • Process improvement.

  • Planning skills.

  • Understanding of inventory management.

  • Both customer and process oriented; capable of satisfying customer needs while following processes.

  • A good team player and can work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills and possess high level of enthusiasm and motivation.

  • Must be IT-savvy and have strong experience in Excel and VBA / macro programming, Power BI, and broad-based awareness of other analytical tools.

  • Must be fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.

  • Working experience in the healthcare industry in a regional oversight capacity is preferred.

  • APICS or other industry certification is preferred.
