Position Summary:

An opportunity exists for an ambitious, driven Finance professional to join the Financial Planning & Analysis Team of Specialty Diagnostics Group with major focus on Clinical Diagnostics Division for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region and be a PLN Champion for APJ. This role will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PLN, Oracle’s cloud-based application for planning, forecasting and data management.

This is an excellent role to gain experience within an exciting, strong growing industry and a fast-paced, matrix- structured and dynamic FP&A environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the PLN Champion for APJ by driving various projects for the region

  • Support the PLN tie-out process for the monthly forecast cycles and Annual Operating Plan

  • Supporting and coordinating closing activities and help ensuring accurate reporting in the monthly closing process

  • Reviewing monthly revenue, spending and headcount details to identify the contributing factors driving variances to AOP and Forecast

  • Lead and/or participate in cross functional teams to help resolve business challenges and enable strategic decision making

  • Provide analytical and financial ad hoc support to numerous divisional business units and countries across APJ.

  • Perform special projects/business cases and ad-hoc financial analysis as required

  • Drivereconciliationprocesses across variousfinancialsystems anddatagovernancewithindivision

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in financial systems and reporting in an MNC environment.

  • Applied knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Data Warehouse or systems etc would be an advantage.

  • Keen learner and can quickly learn systems usage and navigation

  • Self-motivated, action oriented, meticulous and hands on nature

  • Must be able to work under pressure, in a complex matrix environment

  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc
