Job Purpose and Impact

This role will be a part of a Global Marketing Team, with focus for our Animal Nutrition and health enterprise.

Cargill Animal Nutrition is leading, innovating and transforming the animal nutrition & health industry to ensure the customers we serve, the animals we feed, and the consumers who ultimately rely on that protein thrive.

The Content Specialist will develop and execute specific marketing strategies and activities related to content to achieve profitable growth and value creation for both customers and the company. In this role, you will develop “always on” type of content and produce imaginative ideas that are well executed across the platforms and resonate with our audiences ensuring we can deliver on our marketing objectives and achieve customer driven growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the content strategy.

  • Develop engaging and consistent content for multiple channels and in different formats that meets the customer needs.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in evaluating and modifying promotion or advertising programs.

  • Work in partnership with colleagues to support the execution of our social media strategy

  • Produce informational material for our commercial teams to reach the maximum number of customers and prospects.

  • Create and produce marketing, advertising and sales promotion content for website, newsletters and social posts to implement specific marketing strategies and sales objectives.

  • Monitor content development and social trends to generate new ideas

  • Review content performance & implement changes to collaborate to growth

  • Apply knowledge to translate brand / product strategy into powerful copy and stories that drive a desired action and demonstrate understanding of strategy.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Confirmed related work experience

  • Excellent communication skills including copywriting

  • Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, community management, performance measurement, activation and or content delivery

  • Good understanding of different formats of communication and social media channels
