What you’ll do:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engineering of tasks in R&D projects for Oil and Dry Type Transformers,

  • Driving for product cost-out activities through appropriate design actions on Transformers,

  • Providing expertise (Acts as an expert) for products, technology and regulations and carrying knowledge for functional and operational business,

  • Providing interface and support to all relevant functions in PLS (e.g. Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Shop, Product Management, Sales Support, Logistics, SCM, Quality department, Manufacturing, Controlling, …),

  • Ensuring and driving all necessary product improvement and product testing for maintaining product certifications,

  • Collaborating with Product Management, Post-Order Management for product improvement business cases,

  • Working on standardizing schematics and supports R&D / manufacturing engineering in New product development or VAVE (Value Added/Value Engineering) projects,

  • Documenting all activities, data and information in line with procedures

  • Guiding of Type Testing's

  • Checking on design Integrity

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering at BSc level,

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oil and Dry Type Transformers.

Skills:

  • Holding International Standards of IEC, IEEE, ANSI,

  • Experience in testing of transformers,

  • Experience in transformer design,

  • Ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels in and outside the organization,

  • Fluent in English and Turkish

  • Stay abreast of technology trends,

  • Experience in CAD systems,

  • Capability to drive innovative solutions for relevant products,
