Universal Health Services ECT Nurse in SHREVEPORT, Louisiana
Responsibilities
Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic ECT Registered Nurse ! The ECT Registered Nurse delivers quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. The ECT Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates the nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The ECT Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Establishes nursing treatment plan within 8 hours of admission including problem identification and interventions.
Conducts ad hob treatment team as needed; monitors treatment plans for completion and accuracy. .

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Possesses current Louisiana registered nurse license. BSN preferred. Must have ACLS.
EXPERIENCE: One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred .
SCHEDULE:Part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, hours d etermined by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) according to the needs of the facility.
