Veralto General Manager, GCH in Shanghai, China
Main responsibilities and key activities:
Lead & guide sales team in taking proactive steps to meet or exceed overall sales & margin targets
Formulate sales & market development strategies for assigned territories or products
Utilize effective sales management skills to maximize sales penetration through strategic planning & competitive strategies in alignment with corporate & regional initiatives
Develop appropriate relationships with strategic partners to drive growth
Monitor & control selling activities, order developments, pricing strategies, payments
Identify & recommend appropriate marketing events & road shows to regional marketing to capitalize on business opportunities. Thereafter, ensures sales leads are properly followed up by sales personnel
Monitor & control branch operating expenses in line with budget and ensure local cost and other practices are in conformance with company’s framework
Develop manpower plans in consultation with regional office & ensure optimal utilization of resources
Ensure accuracy of sales forecasting through weekly reviews & update of prospects with sales teams, with sense of urgency to follow-up closely in ensuring eventual sales realization.
Coach & motivate performance of employees in meeting key objectives
Identify key training and development needs of employees with ability to spot talent and nurture the development of high potential employees.
Oversee customer service & other operational roles in consultation with regional CS & Operational office
