Group/Division Summary:

China BI Team, within Finance Group, is a team providing end-to-end data solutions to our internal customers, including Reporting&Analytics, Data Science and Data Engineering applications.

Position Summary:

BI Data Analyst will join as a team member of Analytic team reporting to BI Data Manager/Director. This role will support our business users from multiple divisions on their data related needs by delivering solution in various forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal customers across multiple teams, collecting requirements and delivering end to end solutions

  • Work with global Shared Services team to identify new BI capabilities and projects

  • Working independently, or with functional analysts, to build reports, data sets and mechanisms to provide access to business data

  • Be responsible for the diagnosis and support of Power BI reporting solutions, including investigation of data issues, data validation, scalability, balancing and row level security implementation

  • Identify and provide input to new technology opportunities, including regular Microsoft PBI releases, that will have a positive impact on improving the BI visualization portfolio

  • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting

Qualifications:

  • Major in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related majors.

  • Proven ability in market research, business analytics & insights or related fields in health care or FMCG industry.

  • Proficient in SQL, Power BI, Python; experience & interests in AI, ML, Data Science would be preferred.

  • Strong critical thinking, logical thinking and problem-solving, with excellent discernment to identify business opportunities and solutions to business issues.

  • Good communication skills across different function teams & departments, attaining endorsement and support on team.

  • Passion for new technology to change the status quo.

  • Solid team mentality with collaborative demeanour.
