Amazon Sr. Software Engineer, Shipping And Delivery Support in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Amazon's Shipping and Delivery Support (SDS) team focuses on providing drivers, delivering packages on behalf of Amazon, with seamless access to support and self-service capabilities through the SDS Driver Support Hub, available in their mobile-native delivery app.

You will make it possible for drivers to easily access the SDS Driver Support Hub from anywhere in the delivery app with just one click. The SDS Driver Support Hub will dynamically offer relevant self-service options tailored to the driver's current state, whether on or off duty. You'll leverage the power of generative AI to create an intelligent Help search feature. This AI-driven solution will not only facilitate content discovery but also provide optimal call-to-action recommendations, going beyond mere text-based summarization. When further help is required, your solutions will seamlessly integrate with large language model (LLM)-led chat and voice support options, ensuring drivers receive comprehensive help throughout their journey.

We're seeking a dynamic individual, responsible for delivering tech initiatives through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities for this position include developing technical strategies, finding creative solutions for faster deployments, and taking part in on-call duties for one week every seven weeks. Our team emphasizes fault tolerance in solutions to minimize after-hours pages. We work collaboratively to mitigate and prevent future occurrences. We support new team members and promote career growth by assigning projects that empower our engineers to tackle more complex tasks. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are strongly encouraged in our team, and we value contributions that enhance the positive team culture we've fostered.

If you're passionate about leveraging innovative technologies to improve the Amazon delivery experience, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey. Together, we'll create a future where our drivers are supported, empowered, and equipped to deliver excellence at every turn.
