The Fuel Cell Technical Project Manager will report directly to the Fuel Cell Engineering Operations Manager to impact technology maturation for space-rated fuel cell systems. You will perform project management functions across the entire product life cycle from research, design development, final flight hardware design, manufacturing, and production. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Permanence system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain Project Schedule(s) within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Develop standards for and administer the tools for program scheduling, resource planning, cost analysis, and reporting Complete cost-benefit justifications on strategic optimization decisions, including make-buy/where analysis, should-cost modeling, capacity analysis, staffing profiles, capital expenditure analysis, and tracking, and cash flow modeling Handle budgets and implementation of capital equipment and facility projects Collaborate with purchasing and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and production equipment Conduct meetings within and across teams, defining clear objectives and actions as an outcome of the discussions Handle key program metrics (and associated reporting tools) in areas such as: budget, engineering schedules, equipment schedules, procurement schedules, production schedules, program management status reports, and resource plans Generate boards/tools necessary for reporting IPT operations health to Lunar Product Engineering, including data for Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Lunar Program Weekly Review and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) Performs scrum master role for product teams following agile development methods, including defining and completing team sprints Represents IPT in agile product planning sessions Lead Tiger Teams when necessary Minimum Qualifications B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (various), Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related subject areas 5+ years of experience in highly technical and multidisciplinary engineering development projects, including managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost Experienced at translating quantitative and qualitative information into project requirements, scoping and planning documents, and ultimately build ready-for-use and fit-for-purpose tools and processes.
