Amazon Finance Manager, Prime Video International in Seattle, Washington

Description

Finance Manager sought for a high visibility role supporting Prime Video marketing across WW, excluding US. This role will work across International Prime Video finance and marketing teams to drive planning and controllership efforts. This role will also participate in partnership discussions to help drive improvements across the broader Prime Video marketing stakeholder community.

The right individual will have experience working cross-functionally and the ability to influence business leaders through effective verbal and written communication and logical reasoning.

Key job responsibilities

• Partner with finance and marketing leaders to drive strategic initiatives and long term success

• Primary contact to liaise communications impacting International marketing with stakeholders, and partner with FP&A during planning cycles

• Define and install best in class mechanisms for planning and controllership, scaling and building tools to help International marketing finance teams

• Define methods to evaluate cross-country marketing spends

• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses that assist decision-making by senior leadership

• Own worldwide marketing initiatives such as driving spend optimization, and free cash flow initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

  • Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

  • MBA, or CPA

  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
