Amazon Finance Manager, Amazon Games Finance in Seattle, Washington

Description

At Amazon Game Studios (AGS), we’re creating compelling original games in addition to games based on beloved IPs like Lord of the Rings and Tomb Raider. You will play a role in shaping AGS strategy and growth as a Finance Manager on the Portfolio Analytics team.

Key job responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze the AGS portfolio level P&L results

  • Build out and expand portfolio level reporting and analytical tools

  • Lead and coordinate all major planning and forecasting cycles for AGS

  • Provide finance and business leadership with insights on profitability, focusing on revenue KPIs, cost management, and HC

  • Drive improvements to financial systems, financial data integrity, and reporting capabilities

  • Gain a strong understanding of the gaming industry and revenue/cost profiles of our collection of titles

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

  • 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA

  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

  • 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
