ManpowerGroup Datacenter Electrical Technician in Seattle, Washington

Our high profile client in the eCommerce industry is seeking a Datacenter Electrical Technician for a 3- month contract assignment onsite in Seattle, WA. As a Datacenter Electrical Technician working on this project, you will be following a runbook to enable new Cloud SCADA alarming in the datacenters. The ideal candidate will be familiar with datacenter electrical diagrams and schematics, Excel, structured data and data entry to align well with this organization.

Job Title: Datacenter Electrical Technician

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $32/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

  • These contingent workers will be following a runbook developed by DCS to enable new Cloud SCADA alarming in the datacenters.

  • More specifically, this role will help deploy new datacenter alarming functionality by gathering alarming parameters from datacenter design documents, primarily electrical schematics.

  • Datacenter electrical alarms depend on parameters like the amperage and voltage at alarm location, what equipment is associated with the point to be alarmed upon, and other factors.

  • In this role you will use electrical schematics to determine these parameters and will encode them into a structured format that can be read by our software to generate alarm configurations.

  • You will use the resulting alarm performance to correct any errors and deliver production alarms to datacenter operators.

What’s Needed?

  • Experience reading documentation, blue prints, design documents, and Analyst skills

  • Excel skills

  • Electrical schematics

  • Familiar with datacenter electrical diagrams

  • Structure data experience

  • Data entry experience
