Job Description

Looking for a motivated and talented Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the Data & Analytics Team to develop analytics products that support srategic goals. The BIE will partner with more senior BIEs, Data Engineers, Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Program Managers to develop analytics solutions. We signal defects in Retail planning inputs and execution by intelligently measuring and representing the relationship of significant business variables over time. Ideal candidate is highly motivated to learn new concepts and tools, has strong business judgment, and collaborates well with product managers to answer key questions. To thrive, you must be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and flexible; in return you will gain tremendous experience with the latest in BI technologies and exposure to several functional areas such as labor, inventory, marketing, finance, accounting, operations, HR, and merchandising. Responsibilities will include:

- develop user-friendly reports and dashboards

- develop and support ETL pipelines

- data analysis, troubleshooting, etc

- partner with stakeholders to develop and implement KPIs, automated solutions, and data infrastructure improvements

- liaison with stakeholder and technical teams to achieve project objectives, requiring data gathering, problem solving, modeling, and communication of insights and recommendations

- participate in standups, design sessions, maintain Jira health, and create artifacts

Skills and Requirements

- 3-5+ years extensive experience with SQL and visual studio

- 3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience

- Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau

- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

- Experience in retail, consumables, or supply chain management industry

- Proficient in a programming language (e.g., Python) for automation of data extraction, processing, and computation null
