Atlantic Health System Registered Nurse, Ambulatory in Scotch Plains, New Jersey
Principal Accountabilities:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
Perform physical assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient responses.
Collaborate with pediatricians, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments,.
Document all nursing actions, observations, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in planning and ensure continuity of care through effective communication.
Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay current with pediatric nursing best practices and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in NJ.
BLS certification required.
A minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing patient needs and fast-paced environments.
