BrightStar Care CNA/Caregiver in Savannah in Savannah, Georgia

Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at BrightStar Care of Hilton Head is responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to patients in the Savannah, Georgia area. As a key member of our healthcare team, the CNA will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)  to assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health status, and provide essential support to ensure our patients' wellbeing. CNA Responsibilities: - Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation - Administering prescribed medications and treatments, as directed by the RN - Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the RN - Assisting with range of motion exercises and other rehabilitative measures - Providing emotional support and companionship to patients - Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients - Communicating effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team - Documenting all patient care observations and activities in accordance with company policies and procedures Requirements: - Current CNA certification in the state of Georgia - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Compassionate and patient-focused mindset - Physical ability to lift and transfer patients, as needed - Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays, as necessary - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license EEOC Statement: BrightStar Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
