Position entails both Kitchen and Front of House Experience to include cooking breakfast items, replenishing buffet, setting up and breaking down after meal periods, and interacting with guests.

Most positions do require weekend and holiday availability.

Position entails both Kitchen and Front of House Experience to include cooking breakfast items, replenishing buffet, setting up and breaking down after meal periods, and interacting with guests.

Cook produces consistent, quality food product through the use of standardized recipes, following all safety and local sanitation guidelines. A minimum of two years’ experience in food related business, knowledge of food handling and production are required. Candidate must have basic reading, writing, and math skills; must be able to read and interpret recipes. Physical requirements include lifting a minimum of 30 lbs., climbing stairs, walking, and standing for long hours (up to 8 hours).

Duties to include, but not limited to :

  • Obtain a forecast from the restaurant manager/supervisor and make enough food to meet the forecast.

  • Complete all assigned preparatory work including the set-up of the front line.

  • Make sure all items in refrigeration are stocked and properly stored.

  • Maintain strict food sanitation standards.

  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all good production, holding, and storage areas to meet or exceed the local Health Department regulations.

  • Follow standardized recipes for portion control.

  • Adhere to all house policies.

  • Follow policy regarding taste panels.

  • Complete breakdown procedures including proper labeling and storage.

  • Assist in other areas of kitchen as time permits.

  • Check with immediate supervisor before leaving.

  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction

  • Meet or exceed hotel policies regarding 15-minute food orders.
