A client of Insight Global in Sarasota, FL is actively seeking an Assistant Bursar to join their on-site team of 3. The ideal candidate should have exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and a background in payment processing portals. While experience with Transact payments would be ideal, familiarity with other payment processing platforms such as Touchnet, SchoolBanks, and Classter is also valuable.

As the Assistant Bursar, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Student Financial Services Specialist and Associate Controller. Your responsibilities will include managing Student Accounts, Cashiering, Receivables, and Collections. Additionally, you'll be working with Excel on a daily basis, so proficiency in using and editing pivot tables is essential.

Skills and Requirements

• Accounts payable experience

• Very strong Excel skills

• Critical thinking, communication and organization skills

• Able to work independently - Bachelor's degree - flexible with Associate's degree if 1-4+ years experience

• Ellucian Banner

• Experience with state of FL regulations

• Experience in finance within higher ed or community college or private school

• Experience with payment processing portals -- ideally Transact payments null
