At Amazon, our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. As a Financial Analyst on the Operations team, you will play a critical role in helping us fulfill that mission for customers around the world.

The Operations team is at the heart of Amazon's customer-focused success, delivering hundreds of thousands of packages daily. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations and other teams to provide financial inputs and drive continuous improvement.

Key job responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis, reporting, and modeling for assigned processes and projects

• Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize procedures to improve efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify financial solutions

• Continuously expand expertise in controllership, compliance, business analysis, and reporting best practices

• Support performance management through periodic reporting and metrics analysis

• Participate in knowledge sharing activities like internal training and procedure documentation

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Sao Paulo, SP, BRA

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

• Experience working in finance

• Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses

• Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills

• Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

• Advanced English (conversation, writing and reading).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
